Mustard Seeds is a fashion & decor brand established in 2020 by two foundation phase teaching students.
We are a local small business based in Port Elizabeth. Our brand has reached many parts of the country as we courier across South Africa. All our products are handmade and we only support local businesses as much as possible. Our mission is to create uniquely sculpted products which would make you feel special when wearing it. Our decor pieces are the perfect addition to your home. We are determined to only use sustainable packaging, thus eliminating all plastics from packaging.
Many have asked, "Why Mustard Seeds?".
The idea was to create a brand with an organic ring to the name. A mustard seed symbolises the ability to have endless amounts of faith. During Covid19 and lockdown struggles, this was the perfect symbol of faith and hope that I personally needed. Starting your own small business can be daunting, and I am sure that many small business owners can agree. We also realised that Mustard Seeds represents both our co-founders initials, Marlize and Saskia. With a little bit of faith, Mustard Seeds has grown far beyond my expectations in less than a year.
